Thread Vein Treatment Aftercare
You may experience a nettle-rash sensation for around 24 hours afterwards, with the treated areas often feeling slightly sore and itchy. The veins themselves may appear darker and look worse before they look better, but the resulting inflammation settles in time and is absorbed by the surrounding tissues.

On extremely rare occasions ulcers and sloughing can form at the injection site. Equally rarely superficial clot formation, bleeding and/or temporary phlebitis can occur at the treatment site. These conditions will heal on their own.
We monitor your progress using high quality digital images of the thread vein areas, taken at the initial assessment and after each treatment session. These we store as part of your treatment journey record.
