We encourage people to be as active as possible immediately after treatment.  So that would mean you would be in encourage to go back to work the following day. When it comes to exercise there may be some restrictions because of the long thigh length stocking which needs to be worn for five days afterwards but moderate exercise is perfectly permissible during that time and then after a week or so back to full exercise within the limits of any discomfort that you have.
