The initial veins will have disappeared within 2-3 weeks, but there’s a huge variation in what the veins look like afterwards. Sometimes they come back to the clinic in two weeks and they’ve completely gone. Some patients come back after a few weeks and they still have quite a lot of lumpy tenderness within the veins but they always say the symptoms are a lot better but the veins haven’t fully disappeared. Then a few months later the vast majority of  veins would have disappeared but they may still have a little bit of staining afterwards.
